Gombe Govt Distributes 16 New SUVs to Judges, Khadis to Boost Judicial Efficiency

State government says the vehicles will strengthen judicial autonomy and improve justice delivery across Gombe.


The Gombe State Government has presented 16 brand-new SUVs to high court judges and khadis of the Shari’a Court of Appeal as part of its efforts to enhance the effectiveness and independence of the judiciary.


Speaking during the official handover, the government emphasized that the gesture underscores its commitment to judicial autonomy, efficient service delivery, and improved working conditions for judicial officers across the state.


According to state officials, the provision of the new vehicles will ease mobility challenges, support timely adjudication of cases, and reinforce the integrity of the justice system.


They added that strengthening the judiciary remains a major priority of the administration, noting that efficient justice delivery is essential for peace, development, and public trust in governance.


Judicial stakeholders in the state have commended the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward empowering judges and khadis to carry out their constitutional duties without hindrance.
