Ogun State Police Declare FRSC Officer and Teenage Daughter Missing in Abeokuta




Authorities appeal for public assistance after Federal Road Safety Corps Superintendent and her 14-year-old daughter disappear from Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.


The Ogun State Police Command has declared Superintendent Route Commander Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a senior Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, and her teenage daughter, Sewa Lasisi, missing.


According to Police Spokesperson Omolola Odutola, the pair left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and have not been seen since.


“The Ogun State Police Command is appealing to the public to assist in locating SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun and her daughter,” Odutola stated.


Family members and colleagues reportedly tried reaching both mother and daughter on their phones without success.


Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu has ordered an immediate investigation into the disappearance, urging anyone with credible information to report to the nearest station.


“The command assures the public that all information received will be treated with utmost confidentiality,” Odutola added.


The FRSC and local communities have joined the search, expressing concern for the safety of the respected officer known for her diligence and professionalism.
