Abeokuta is set for a major nightlife shake-up as THE VOLT Rave Party makes its debut on March 28, bringing what organizers describe as a complete system reset for the city’s entertainment scene. The event, scheduled to hold at De La Point Garden, Laderin, promises a high-energy, immersive experience that breaks away from traditional club culture.
At the heart of THE VOLT concept is a 360-degree immersive DJ core, replacing the usual front-row, VIP sections, and segregated spaces with a single unified dance floor. In this setup, the crowd surrounds the DJ, creating what organizers call a raw, loud, and hybrid energy powered by Afrobeats, Amapiano, and Hip-Hop.
According to the organizers, the goal is to eliminate hierarchy on the dance floor and place everyone at the center of the experience. “No front row. No sections. No VIP,” the statement reads, emphasizing that THE VOLT is designed to connect people purely through sound, movement, and shared energy. For partygoers who want closer access to the DJ, limited Stage Passes will allow entry into the DJ’s square without disrupting the inclusive atmosphere.
The rave will feature performances from DJ Gas, DJ Snowjae, and Sexy DJ Tega, a lineup expected to deliver premium sounds and nonstop energy throughout the night. Organizers describe the event as more than a party, calling it “the future of the circuit” and a new cultural statement for Abeokuta’s growing nightlife audience.
