JAMB Releases 279 Previously Withheld UTME Results

Board concludes investigation process and clears affected examination outcomes

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially released 279 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination results that were earlier withheld pending further investigation.

According to the board, the affected results had been placed under review over suspected irregularities and verification concerns identified during the examination process.

The release followed the completion of investigations carried out by JAMB to determine the authenticity and validity of the candidates’ results. The board noted that the decision reflects its commitment to ensuring fairness while maintaining the integrity of the examination system.

JAMB reiterated that its review mechanisms are designed to protect the credibility of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and ensure that only verified results are approved for admission processes.

The development is expected to provide relief for affected candidates awaiting clarification on their examination status as they continue preparations for tertiary institution admissions across the country.

The board also restated its commitment to combating examination malpractice and maintaining transparent procedures in Nigeria’s tertiary admissions system.
