The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Apapa Area Command, has recorded ₦28.1 billion in revenue in a single day, setting a new record for the command.
The revenue was generated on August 18, 2026, marking the highest single-day collection recorded by the Apapa Area Command.
The latest feat highlights the command's growing contribution to Nigeria's revenue mobilisation efforts and comes amid continued measures by the NCS to improve revenue collection and trade facilitation.
The record is also expected to strengthen calls for greater efficiency in customs operations and improved revenue generation from Nigeria's major ports.
