The Apapa Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has recorded its highest-ever single-day revenue after generating ₦28,102,000,914.61 within 24 hours on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
The command said the revenue represents a new record for its operations and marks a significant milestone in its revenue-collection efforts.
The latest figure surpasses previous single-day revenue records recorded by the command, highlighting the growing contribution of the Apapa port to Nigeria's customs revenue.
The development is expected to attract attention as the Federal Government continues to prioritise improved revenue mobilisation and more efficient customs operations.
The record was achieved amid ongoing efforts by the NCS to strengthen revenue collection, facilitate legitimate trade and improve compliance at Nigeria's busiest port complex.
