Two commercial motorcyclists were apprehended by local vigilantes in the Kusaki community, Kuje Area Council, FCT, after allegedly raping a teenage hawker.
Vigilantes in Kuje Area Council have arrested Rabiu Bala and Nasiru Shehu for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl who sells a local rice delicacy known as Garau-Garau.
Community vigilante member Samaila Yakubu confirmed that the suspects lured the victim to their residence under the guise of repaying a debt, before taking turns to assault her.
The suspects confessed during interrogation and were handed over to the Nigeria Police at Kuje Division, while doctors at a nearby hospital confirmed penetration.
Police authorities said an investigation is ongoing.
