Minister of FCT Nyesom Wike has blasted PDP governors, warning that excluding him from party decisions could destroy the Peoples Democratic Party.
Speaking in Abuja, Wike said: “Have I not said it before now that the booby trap you are setting will consume you? The way these present governors are doing, they will bury this party.”
He questioned why his role as a Minister and long-standing party influence should be ignored in key consultations, insisting PDP’s troubles are self-inflicted, not caused by APC.
Wike also criticized the party’s failure to complete congresses and prepare for the upcoming national convention, claiming internal games and defections are threatening the party’s survival. “If you think you will sideline people to hold the convention, it will not be possible,” he warned.
