Former Nigerian football captain Sunday Oliseh has applauded Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi after he became the first Nigerian player to reach 300 Premier League appearances.
Iwobi achieved the milestone during Fulham’s weekend clash against Newcastle United, spanning stints at Arsenal (100 games), Everton (123), and Fulham (77).
Oliseh praised the 29-year-old, saying, “Congrats Alex! For me, one, it is a real joy to see this player continue to improve. A true talent.” Iwobi remains a key figure for both Fulham and the Nigerian national team.
