The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has addressed circulating reports suggesting a potential defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), firmly stating that he remains dedicated to the party.
Speaking during a press briefing at the Government House in Ibadan, Makinde described the rumours as “baseless” and emphasized his continued support for the PDP’s policies and leadership. He reassured party members and the public that his administration’s focus remains on advancing development initiatives in Oyo State and strengthening the party at both state and national levels.
