The Federal Government has announced plans to conduct a nationwide survey of out-of-school children as part of efforts to obtain accurate data for addressing Nigeria's education challenges.
The survey is expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the number, distribution and circumstances of children who are not enrolled in school across the country.
According to the government, the findings will guide the formulation of evidence-based policies and targeted interventions aimed at reducing the out-of-school population and improving access to quality education.
