Nigerian social commentator Solomon Buchi has criticised women who wear very short outfits but repeatedly pull them down while walking or trying to sit.
Buchi, known for sharing his opinions on relationships, marriage and social issues, argued that constantly adjusting a short outfit after choosing to wear it makes little sense.
“There is nothing more clownish than a woman leaving her house wearing something very short and constantly pulling it down when she wants to sit down or when walking on the road,” he said.
He further used a derogatory term to describe the behaviour, suggesting that people should consider their comfort before choosing what to wear outside their homes.
His comment has sparked conversations online, with social media users expressing different opinions about fashion choices, personal comfort and the way people comment on women’s clothing.
While some agreed with his position that people should wear outfits they are comfortable in, others criticised the language used in expressing his opinion.
