Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has announced plans to return to professional football, 11 years after retiring from the game.
The former Barcelona and Brazil star said he will make a comeback with Italian third-division side Ravenna, with the aim of scoring what he described as his 300th goal.
Ronaldinho, who officially retired from football in 2015, remains one of the most celebrated players of his generation, renowned for his creativity, dribbling skills and spectacular goals.
His proposed return has generated excitement among football fans, many of whom are eager to see the 2002 World Cup winner back on the pitch.
The comeback would mark an extraordinary return for the former FIFA World Player of the Year, who last played professional football more than a decade ago.
