One hundred Nigerians repatriated from South Africa through the humanitarian intervention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have arrived in Nigeria.
The returnees landed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday night.
The repatriation was carried out as part of the church’s humanitarian intervention aimed at supporting Nigerians seeking to return home from South Africa.
The arrival of the 100 Nigerians highlights ongoing efforts by humanitarian organisations and other stakeholders to assist Nigerians facing difficult circumstances abroad and facilitate their safe return to the country.
The RCCG’s intervention is expected to provide immediate support to the returnees as they begin the process of reintegration into their communities and continue with their lives in Nigeria.
