Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is reportedly set to return to the Octagon in a headline bout against Russian middleweight contender Shara “Bullet” Magomedov at UFC Qatar on November 21.
According to reports from Russian media, the two fighters are being lined up for a five-round main event at the ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar.
The proposed contest would bring together two fighters with contrasting experience and career trajectories in the UFC’s middleweight division.
Adesanya, a former two-time UFC middleweight champion, has established himself as one of the most accomplished fighters in the division. The Nigerian-born New Zealander has competed against some of the biggest names in UFC history during his career and has held the 185-pound title on multiple occasions.
