ISEYIN, Oyo State — Nigerian comedian and Nollywood veteran Hafiz Oyetoro, famously known as “Saka”, melted hearts at a wedding ceremony in his hometown of Iseyin. The occasion celebrated his goddaughter, Mercy Adebola, who recently married Oluwatobiloba Akinbode, now Mercy Akinbode.
As the chairman of the ceremony, Saka was seated with his family when the MC announced his presence. Fans immediately rushed to meet the beloved actor, asking for pictures and selfies. True to his reputation, Saka did not decline a single request, maintaining his trademark composure and broad smile throughout the event.
Speaking exclusively with L24News, Hafiz Oyetoro shared his thoughts on interacting with fans:
“I feel grateful and useful. I hardly turn down requests. If I regularly turn down requests, it will affect me as a brand, and people will not be happy to meet me. Out of 100%, I could turn down 1% only if someone isn’t presentable. Overall, it’s a very grateful feeling.”
