Professionals from different sectors converged for an intensive Elocution Skills Training facilitated by renowned broadcaster, media consultant and elocution coach Siju Alabi, with participants sharpening their communication, public speaking and presentation skills through practical learning sessions.
The workshop attracted customer service representatives, front desk officers, marketers, television and radio presenters, public relations practitioners, teachers and other professionals seeking to improve their spoken English, vocal delivery and stage confidence.
A respected broadcaster, corporate host, voice-over artiste and media trainer, Siju Alabi guided participants through practical sessions on powerful public speaking, confident voice projection, clear articulation and effective communication.
Participants also took part in voice-over presentations, word drills, reading exercises and tongue twisters, receiving professional feedback aimed at improving pronunciation, diction and vocal expression.
One of the highlights of the training was the surprise appearance of seasoned broadcaster Joshua Morakinyo, a mentee of Siju Alabi.
Sharing his broadcasting journey, Morakinyo spoke about the significant role Siju Alabi played in shaping his career, describing himself as privileged to have learned under her tutelage. He encouraged participants to maximise the opportunity, noting that they were learning from one of the industry's most respected communication coaches.
