The Innovator Founder route is designed for entrepreneurs who want to establish and operate an innovative business in the UK. Who Can Switch?
A Student visa holder can generally switch to the Innovator Founder route if they have completed the course for which their Student visa was granted.
There is also a separate provision for students pursuing a full-time PhD. Under the current Immigration Rules, a Student visa holder studying for a PhD may qualify to switch after completing the required period of study.
