Inside the Ilaro Trade Fair Season 6 Podcast: Vendors Speak, Rumors Debunked, and Big Rewards Announced

With just nine days to the much-anticipated Ilaro Trade Fair Season 6, energy is already building across Ogun State as the official pre-event podcast, hosted by Omobolaji, brought vendors together for an engaging, insightful, and emotional conversation.

 The session held at the beauty studio of the fair’s convener, Damilola Akakpo, popularly known as Baby Girl Dermacol unveiled fresh details about the exhibition, including the first-ever free shuttle services to Ilaro from Lagos, Abeokuta, and Abule Egba.

This year’s theme, “Sold Out,” became even more symbolic as returning and first-time vendors shared their expectations and past successes. 

Badmus Zainab Pelumi of Ewaade Beauty Shades & More, Ekundayo Nofisat Oluwaseun of Naffyscents, Nofiu Oluwatomisin Racheal of Marshals_Cuisine, and Boyejo Abosede Grace of Bhaystyles all featured on the podcast.

One vendor, a regular at the fair, testified to selling out every single year, while others who used to attend as spectators revealed they had finally joined as exhibitors after witnessing Dermacol’s consistency and impact.

The podcast also cleared the air on circulating rumors about favoritism during vendor selection. Dermacol firmly debunked the claims, stressing that the Ilaro Trade Fair remains open, fair, and accessible to all businesses, regardless of size or background.

Beyond exhibitions, organizers announced exciting rewards for shoppers. Anyone who makes purchases from ₦20,000 and above gets a chance to pick a ballot and win instant gift items, while one lucky shopper will walk away with the grand prize of ₦500,000. 

The fair will take place at Itolu Secondary School, opposite Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, with heightened anticipation across the community.
