Two of Nigeria’s leading beverage manufacturers, Nigerian Breweries and Guinness Nigeria, have announced plans to increase the prices of some of their products, citing rising operational costs.
The companies said the adjustment has become necessary due to increasing expenses associated with production, distribution, and other operational factors affecting the beverage industry.
Industry analysts note that manufacturers across several sectors have faced mounting cost pressures linked to inflation, foreign exchange volatility, energy costs, and logistics challenges.
