Nollywood actresses Rachael Okonkwo and Eucharia Anunobi have been appointed as aides to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, joining the state government in different capacities.
Okonkwo, popularly known as Nkoli Nwa Nsukka, has been appointed Senior Special Assistant on Film and Creative Industry Development. Her new role will focus on supporting the growth and development of the film and creative industry in Enugu State.
The actress is widely recognised for her contributions to Nollywood and has featured in numerous Nigerian films throughout her career. She has also built a strong public profile through her work in the entertainment industry.
Veteran actress Eucharia Anunobi, meanwhile, has been appointed Special Assistant on Women Mobilisation for the Enugu North Zone.

The appointments were announced as part of a wider set of appointments by the Enugu State Government.
