The unusual moment happened after Apple’s September 9 product event, where CEO John Ternus introduced the company’s first foldable iPhone. Speed later met Ternus and was given an opportunity to handle the new device.
While holding the iPhone Duo, Speed suddenly decided to attempt a backflip with the device in his hand.
“I gotta be the first person to do a backflip holding the iPhone Duo,” the streamer said before performing the stunt.
He successfully completed the backflip without dropping the phone, then celebrated the moment and declared himself the first person to accomplish the feat while holding the new foldable iPhone.
Ternus remained nearby as the stunt unfolded, with the moment captured on video and quickly shared across social media.
The interaction also included Speed jokingly asking Ternus whether he wanted his phone back, to which the Apple CEO reportedly replied, “Yeah, nice try.”
