Nigerian tax professional, financial analyst and author Babatunde Kehinde has unveiled his new book, How Will You Order Your Life?, a thought-provoking work that challenges readers to confront life’s realities while making intentional decisions about success, purpose and personal growth.
With a foreword by Kehinde Folorunsho, FCA, the book explores the complexities of life, arguing that challenges and setbacks are not obstacles to fulfillment but essential experiences that shape character, resilience and human excellence.
In the book, Kehinde rejects the tendency to present life as an easy journey, insisting that many of the harsh realities of adulthood are often hidden from younger generations. He encourages readers to prepare mentally for the uncertainties of life rather than being caught off guard by its inevitable difficulties.
According to the author, success does not come at the same pace for everyone, and individuals must resist the pressure to measure their lives against the achievements of others. Instead, he advocates building a life founded on purpose, integrity, competence and resilience, even in societies where mediocrity is sometimes rewarded and unethical behaviour appears normalised.
Beyond examining personal success, How Will You Order Your Life? also delves into themes of leadership, societal values, institutional development and human potential, inviting readers to think critically about the kind of lives they choose to build and the legacy they hope to leave behind.
Kehinde is a Nigerian tax professional, financial analyst, thinker and writer whose work spans taxation, finance, economics, leadership, human development and institutional systems. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and is currently pursuing a PhD, with research interests covering economic systems, taxation, institutional development, human behaviour and philosophical thought.
He is a Fellow and member of several professional bodies, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria (ISMN) and The Institute of Management Consultants. He is also recognised as a Certified Management Specialist by the London Graduate School.
Describing himself as a polymath, Kehinde’s intellectual interests extend beyond finance into philosophy, theology, psychology, political economy, organisational systems and the study of human excellence.
Through his writings, he seeks to challenge conventional thinking, provoke meaningful conversations and inspire individuals to build lives of significance while contributing to stronger institutions and a better society.
