The Ogun State Government has released N6.75 billion for the payment of gratuity and additional pension benefits to retirees across the state.
The Head of Service, Olanrewaju Saka, disclosed this while providing an update on the government’s efforts to address outstanding financial obligations to retired workers.
According to Saka, the release of the funds is aimed at improving the welfare of retirees and ensuring that former public servants receive benefits due to them after years of service to the state.
The payment covers gratuity and additional pension benefits owed to eligible retirees, providing financial relief to beneficiaries who have been awaiting settlement of their entitlements.
