Customer Service Week Holds December 1–3 as Candidates Urged to Follow Critical Steps Before Registration
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued important guidelines for prospective candidates as preparations intensify for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The agency’s annual Customer Service Week is scheduled for December 1st to 3rd, with December 2nd dedicated as Sensitization Day to educate applicants on essential registration procedures.
According to JAMB, candidates must ensure their biodata is accurately corrected at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) before beginning the registration process. The Board emphasized that only a unique SIM, one that has never been used on the JAMB portal, should be used for the 2026 UTME registration. Applicants are also warned against using the National Identification Numbers (NIN) of parents or relatives, as this may result in complications.
JAMB stated clearly that no corrections will be allowed after registration, urging candidates to review all details carefully. Prospective applicants are also advised to choose the correct subject combinations relevant to their preferred courses to avoid disqualification or admission challenges.
Prospective UTME candidates are encouraged to take advantage of the sensitization activities to ensure a seamless and accurate registration process.
