China Rejects Global Policing Role, Says No Country Should Act as World Judge

Beijing reiterates opposition to unilateral actions and calls for a multipolar global order based on international law

China has firmly stated that it cannot accept any country positioning itself as a global judge or acting as the world’s policeman, reiterating its long-standing opposition to unilateralism and hegemonic practices in international relations.

Chinese officials made the position clear while responding to growing global tensions and foreign policy interventions, stressing that international affairs should be governed by mutual respect, sovereignty, and the principles of international law rather than the dominance of any single power.

According to Beijing, global peace and stability can only be achieved through dialogue, cooperation, and multilateral institutions where all nations, regardless of size or influence, have a voice. China emphasized that no country has the moral authority to impose its will or values on others under the guise of maintaining global order.

The statement aligns with China’s broader call for a multipolar world system, where power is more evenly distributed and international disputes are resolved through diplomacy rather than force. As geopolitical rivalries intensify, Beijing’s remarks signal its continued resistance to what it views as selective enforcement of global rules and the misuse of power in world affairs.
