Samson Adamu, a Nigerian football administrator, has been appointed Acting General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football. The appointment places him in one of the most influential administrative positions within African football.

Adamu, who previously served as Director of Competitions at the continental football governing body, has been involved in organising several major African football tournaments, including the Africa Cup of Nations and other CAF competitions.
