The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has expressed gratitude to God following the safe rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State.
The church described the development as an answer to prayers offered for the victims, their families and everyone involved in efforts to secure their release.
“God answered our prayers over the rescue of the Oyo State pupils and teachers,” the church said.
RCCG also appreciated the efforts of security agencies and all those who worked towards ensuring the victims regained their freedom safely.
The release of the pupils and teachers has brought relief to their families, the school community and residents who had anxiously awaited their return.
The church encouraged Nigerians to continue praying for peace, security and the protection of schools across the country amid ongoing security challenges.
