Women in media have been challenged to stop minimizing their abilities and instead develop the competence and confidence required to thrive in the industry. This charge was given by media, marketing and communications professional Mrs. Kikelomo Atanda-Owo Abati during a special International Women’s Month webinar hosted by Media Girls Nigeria.
The virtual session, held via Zoom, was themed “Owning Your Voice in the Media Space: Nuggets Every Media Girl Should Know.” It brought together aspiring and practicing media professionals eager to gain practical insights on career growth, self-development and influence in the media landscape.
The webinar was convened by Oludolapo Adewale, a broadcast journalist, diction coach and public speaking trainer, who is also the founder of Crystal Lattice Media and Media Girls Nigeria. Through the initiative, Adewale continues to create opportunities for women to learn, connect and grow within the media industry.
