The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has urged corps members to remain politically neutral as campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections begin.
The NYSC DG advised corps members to avoid partisan activities and conduct themselves responsibly throughout the electoral season.
He stressed the importance of maintaining the integrity and neutrality expected of corps members, particularly as they serve in communities across the country.
The Director-General also urged corps members to avoid actions, statements or social media activities that could be interpreted as partisan political involvement.
He encouraged them to promote peace, responsible citizenship and respect for Nigeria's democratic process while carrying out their duties.
The warning comes as political activities and campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum across the country.
