The Conquerors Global Assembly founder recounts how faith and prayer led to his wife’s recovery after an HIV diagnosis during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Founder of the Conquerors Global Assembly, Bishop David Abioye, has shared a moving testimony about his wife’s miraculous recovery after being diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking during a Sunday service, Bishop Abioye revealed that doctors had informed him of the diagnosis, but he rejected it immediately and turned to prayer.
“During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV. I said no, not in this body,” he recalled. “By the time they checked her again, they couldn’t find anything there. Healing is not for gentlemen—you don’t nurse sickness to go, you fight sickness to go.”
Abioye explained that his faith was rooted in a scripture that says, “The prince of this world came and found nothing in me.” He credited the healing to divine intervention and steadfast belief in God’s promises.
His testimony has since sparked widespread conversation across social media and faith circles, with many describing it as a powerful reminder of the potency of prayer and unwavering faith.
