The humanitarian team stormed major markets in the city, including Kuto and Lafenwa, where market men and women, petty traders, the elderly, and other less privileged residents warmly rallied around them. Many beneficiaries described the gesture as timely, especially in this season of Yuletide when rising costs have made basic food items difficult to access.
Foodstuffs were generously distributed, leaving the atmosphere filled with smiles, prayers, and overwhelming gratitude. People expressed joy as they received the items, noting that the act of kindness brought relief and hope at a crucial time.Adding excitement to the event, celebrity content creator and Nollywood actor Hyrish the Big Deal graced the outreach, drawing attention and lifting the spirits of beneficiaries with his warm presence.
Vice President of RIMC Foundation, Lawal Funmilayo, thanked the crowd for their turnout and for accepting the gifts with love. She emphasized that RIMCF remains open to more collaborations that will deepen its impact and reach more underserved communities.
She reaffirmed that beneficiaries can look forward to more life-touching initiatives from the Foundation, as both RIMC and Yovela Impact Network continue to champion compassion, community support, and sustainable humanitarian action across Nigeria.
