The stage has been set for the decisive 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifying clash between Nigeria U17 women’s national football team and Guinea U17 women’s national football team following a pre-match press conference held ahead of Sunday’s encounter at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The briefing, coordinated by the Nigeria Football Federation media office and anchored by Pius Idoko, brought together representatives of both teams as they outlined their expectations, preparation levels, and mindset ahead of the return leg fixture.
Guinea head coach Camara Amadou Kain expressed respect for the Nigerian side while maintaining confidence in his team’s ability to deliver a disciplined performance.
