Incentive is expected to motivate the Nigerian women's national team as they pursue another continental title.
The National Sports Commission (NSC) has reportedly announced a $5,000 incentive for every goal scored by the Super Falcons during the group stage of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The reported incentive is aimed at boosting the morale of the nine-time African champions as they begin their quest for another continental title.
If implemented, the reward would see players earn a financial bonus for each goal scored during the group phase of the competition, adding extra motivation to the team's campaign.
The Super Falcons remain Africa's most successful women's national team and are widely regarded as one of the favourites to challenge for the 2026 WAFCON trophy.
