President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured members of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) that his administration is making steady progress in stabilising the country, expressing confidence that greater prosperity lies ahead.
Addressing the Catholic bishops, the President said his government's ongoing economic and governance reforms are aimed at restoring stability and creating a stronger foundation for sustainable national development.
"We are stabilising the nation, and prosperity is on the horizon," Tinubu said.
The President acknowledged the challenges Nigerians have faced in recent times but urged citizens to remain patient and hopeful, assuring them that the reforms being implemented would ultimately deliver long-term economic growth and improved living standards.
His remarks come amid continued public debate over the impact of the administration's economic policies and efforts to address inflation, insecurity and other national challenges.
