Former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has claimed that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde told him he would not allow himself to be used as a Yoruba man against another Yoruba man, like the situation involving Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Fayose made the claim while speaking about political developments and relationships within the Yoruba political space.

“Governor Makinde told me he will not be the Yoruba man used against another Yoruba man like Asiwaju. Let him deny it,” Fayose said.

The former governor challenged Makinde to publicly deny the statement if he did not make such a remark.

The claim comes amid ongoing political realignments and discussions over alliances, influence and the future direction of politics in the South-West.

Makinde's response to Fayose's claim, if any, is expected to attract further attention as political discussions intensify ahead of future electoral contests.
