Apple Increases Apple Music Subscription Prices in Nigeria From August 17

Student, Individual and Family plans to cost more as new pricing takes effect nationwide.

Apple has announced an increase in the subscription prices of its Apple Music plans in Nigeria, with the new rates set to take effect from August 17, 2026.

Under the revised pricing, the Student Plan will increase from $5.99 to $6.99 per month, while the Individual Plan will rise from $10.99 to $11.99 per month.

The Family Plan will see the largest adjustment, increasing from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.

The new pricing will apply to Apple Music subscribers in Nigeria from the effective date. Apple has not disclosed the reason for the latest price adjustment.

The increase comes as digital service providers continue to review subscription costs across various markets amid changing economic conditions and operational expenses.
